About ScanWith
ScanWith is a free toolbox for checking links, files and networks for threats.
We build tools we wanted ourselves: fast, honest about their limits and usable without an account.
Where our scan results come from
Our scanners do not invent verdicts. They query established threat-intelligence services and show you what each one reports:

A clean result means no source currently knows the item as malicious. It is not a guarantee, and we say so on every result.
How we choose downloads
- We only list security software from its original vendor.
- Every download page names the vendor, the version and the date we last checked it.
- We mark products as discontinued when the vendor stops updating them, and suggest maintained alternatives.
How we handle your data
Tools marked Client-side, like the Password Generator, run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type in them is sent to us.
