After downloading

  1. DownloadSave ScanWith-FileUnlocker.exe and verify the SHA-256 checksum shown on the download page.
  2. Run as administratorRight-click the file and choose "Run as administrator" - needed to release locks held by other users or services.
  3. Select the locked fileDrag it into the window or click Browse.
  4. UnlockReview the processes holding it, then click Unlock. The file is ready to delete, move or rename.
